About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planner to join our Planning team at Sportsgirl. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in enabling the department and your category to achieve set sales plans and overall gross profit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Buying to develop detailed buying plans and growth strategies.
  • Review range to ensure brand strategies and financial goals are being met.
  • Oversee the planning and re-forecasting of key items and volume lines.
  • Manage OTB (Open to Buy) and continually identify opportunities for achieving financial objectives.
  • Review store sales and allocations with Planning Assistants.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams as required.
Requirements
  • Allocation experience within retail - Apparel ideal.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management capability.
