
High Volume Accounts Payable Clerk

The organisation is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to commence immediately prior to Christmas. This opportunity is initially 3 months and is very likely to further extend.
- The Accounts Payable Officer duties include:
- End to end Accounts Payable duties - high volume
- Reconcile the general ledger to Accounts Payable/Bank ledgers
- Allocation of expenses to cost centres and accounts, generating and evaluating expense reports and preparing and posting relevant journals in the finance system
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounts payable and other finance related issues and provide efficient and timely advice
- Assist in preparing monthly financial and management reports, BAS, month end and year end processes, and the budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Preparing documentation for audit enquiries
- Maintain accurate historical records and ensure the ready availability of supporting financial documentation for internal and external audits
- Ideally you will have relevant education and experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations, as well as:
- Hold tertiary qualifications and experience in accounting, business administration, commerce or similar
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume environment processing upward of 50-100 invoices daily
- Experience using Dynamics 365 or Dynamics package highly advantageous, in lieu of Dynamics package, extensive experience with ERP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to liaise well with all stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work well within a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- 3-Month contract with full time hours
- Melbourne CBD location with WFH hybrid 2 days a week

- $46.00-$50.00 Per hour + Super
