Job Description

As a key member of our operations team, the Warehouse Superintendent will oversee the stores department on a large mine site. This is a permanent and full-time role with a competitive salary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics and storage of all supplies to the mine site.

  • Providing leadership, direction, and supervision for warehouse staff.
  • Controlling all internal warehouse activities to ensure efficient utilisation of labour and facilities.
  • Ensuring appropriate processes and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
  • Working closely with Maintenance Superintendents to ensure consistency of service through effective management of parts.
  • Conducting regular stock takes to ensure accuracy and availability of stock.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven skills and experience in a similar role at a senior level.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team through constant change and challenges.
  • Experience in the mining industry highly regarded.
  • Valid S1,2,3 and G2 licence.
  • Standard 11 and Coal Board medical or willingness to obtain.
