Compliance and People Manager

The People and Compliance Officer plays a vital role in the delivery of our organisational agenda. This position supports strategic initiatives, ensures high-quality operational execution across HR and Safety teams, and partners closely with key stakeholders to drive continuity, capability uplift, and development for local teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior leaders in forums, approvals, and regional representation as needed.
  • Coordinate core processes such as performance reviews, talent calibration, engagement actions, and organisational planning.
  • Drive compliance and governance activities including policy reviews, contract changes, and regulatory obligations.
  • Support preparation and coordination for employee lifecycle initiatives, including onboarding, offboarding, and case management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on employment law, risk mitigation, and workplace culture.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources roles, preferably in business partner positions.
  • Strong operational HR experience across employee relations, compliance, performance, and lifecycle delivery.
  • Solid understanding of Australian employment law and industrial instruments.
  • Excellent relationship building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
