We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team.
- About the Role
- This is a key role in Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD), requiring someone with extensive experience and skills in instrument maintenance, cleaning, and preparation for surgical procedures.
- Performing daily tasks related to CSSD including sterilizing, packaging and storing instruments, equipment and other medical supplies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
- Ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected and stored following proper procedures.
- Identifying and reporting any issues or concerns regarding instrument quality, functionality or safety.
- Diploma/Certificate III in Medical Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in CSSD.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work flexibly, including rotating shifts on weekdays.
