Mobile Equipment Servicer

This role offers the chance to join a global leader in packaging and resource recovery, working across multiple sites in Melbourne.

As a Mobile Equipment Servicer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing mobile equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts and loaders. You will diagnose, service, and repair a variety of mobile equipment, respond to breakdowns, attend to faults and complete diagnostic work. Additional responsibilities include carrying out hydraulic repairs, minor welding, and basic electrical fault rectification. Assist with ordering parts, inventory management, and job reporting. Work both independently and collaboratively with site teams, maintaining strong safety standards and adhering to all site procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Certified Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' mechanical experience, ideally with forklifts, mobile plant, or earthmoving equipment.
  • Strong diagnostics and fault-finding capability.
  • Current full driver's licence (essential).
  • Forklift licence highly regarded (or willingness to obtain).
