Payroll Internal Auditor Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Internal Auditor to conduct comprehensive audits of payroll processes, systems, and controls. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed audits of payroll transactions, employee data, and payroll system configurations to identify discrepancies or potential areas of concern.
  • Review payroll records, tax withholdings, deductions, and earnings to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Stay updated with relevant payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance concerns and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional, Certified Internal Auditor) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in payroll auditing, internal auditing, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
