Seeking a self-motivated and caring professional to provide support and companionship to an individual in Burnside. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with community participation, light house chores, and facilitating appointments.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as light house chores and meal preparation.
  • Support the member to participate in various community-based activities, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Engage in hobbies and interests with the member, fostering a sense of companionship and connection.
  • Help the member plan and organize their day, including scheduling appointments and managing tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Disabilities/Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • A smartphone to access relevant apps and services.
  • Hold an ABN or be willing to obtain one.
  • A valid Police check and NDIS Check.
  • First aid training, including CPR.
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
  • Experience in the care and support of older people or those with a disability.
  • A reliable vehicle and a full Australia's driver's licence and CTP mandatory insurance if using the vehicle for work.
  • Proof of Australian residency status or working rights.
