Our expanding waste sector is in high demand, with clients across the UK and worldwide. To address the challenges of this growing market, we need a Civil Design Manager with experience in waste management to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative solutions for efficiency and environmental impact.
  • Lead pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, and detailed design processes for waste-to-energy systems and other projects.
  • Work on new-build, refurbishment, upgrade, and retro-fit projects; foster a collaborative team environment.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
  • Strong background in waste management; knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proactive attitude with knowledge of the energy industry; ability to coach and mentor junior staff.
  • Engaged in the engineering community; understanding of innovative solutions and industry best practices.
  • Experience in design management of waste projects from concept to completion.
  • Passion for sustainability and making a positive environmental impact.
