Mortgage Discharges Officer Job Description

Based in recently refurbished offices, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a high functioning team looking to grow their existing team.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of PPSR and mortgage discharge processing with minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in commercial finance or banking environment.

Key responsibilities include reviewing discharge forms to ensure that all information and supporting documentation has been supplied and is correct, completing required break cost calculations and payout figures, and working through instructions from the panel solicitors to ensure that all final payout figures are prepared to meet settlement.

Additional requirements include managing all allocated files within agreed service levels as directed by the Team Manager, possessing excellent written and oral communication skills, and being able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidates will have previous experience in a processing role, good knowledge of home loan principles, and strong computer, literacy and numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail.

The successful applicant will be forward-looking thinker with robust problem-solving skills, able to review security documents and prepare them for submission.
