Transport Planning Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Planning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transport and infrastructure plans and policies, including regional plans, planning schemes, structure plans, master plans, and local government infrastructure plans.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the coordination of Transport reviews of Priority Development Areas, Environmental Impact Statements, and Ministerial Infrastructure Designations. The Specialist will also provide advice on matters related to the delivery of integrated land use and transport outcomes in Queensland.
Accountabilities include providing assistance in the coordination of whole-of-department responses on key land use and transport infrastructure plans and policies. The Specialist will also undertake research and analysis, participate in the development of transport planning projects and studies, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, prepare formal correspondence, advice, reports, and briefing notes, and actively participate in performance conversations.
This role reports to the Manager (Statutory Planning) and has no direct reports.
