Lead Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned senior software engineer to be part of our Identity & Trust squad. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining systems that authenticate and identify customers as they log in to their Zip accounts.
About the Role- Display advanced proficiency in coding, problem-solving, and operational excellence.
- Take full ownership of project timelines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and effectively mentor your peers.
- Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to tackle complex problems.
- 6+ years of experience in backend development using C#, .net and microservices.
- Opportunity to work across a breadth of engineering initiatives with a high degree of autonomy.
- Hybrid work arrangement with two team days in the office.
- Expert knowledge of .Net Framework and .Net Core.
- Proven experience working with cloud-based technologies (AWS).
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC is a plus.
- A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
- An aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
