Overview

We're partnering with one of Australia's leading financial institutions, where Engineers are building a digital cloud platform to transform user experience. They're looking for a Lead Backend Engineer with a strong background in large-scale software systems. You'll play a key role in the development, maintenance and support of increasingly complex and mission critical services, as well as having influence on design principles, technical solutions and overall technical strategy.

  • Technical leadership

  • Extensive backend and leadership experience
  • Node, Typescript, React & AWS
  • Deep expertise in serverless applications on AWS
  • Working with key stakeholders and able to articulate well
  • Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills
