Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Partnership Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including corporates, community organisations, and other potential funders.

Your primary objective will be to promote the mission and goals of our organisation through strategic partnerships, increasing donations, in-kind support, and awareness of our work.

As a Partnership Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager, Fundraising to develop, implement, and review key fundraising initiatives and strategic projects.

  • You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships that align with our organisational goals.
  • You will maintain existing relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring they are engaged and supportive of our cause.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a partnerships/business development role, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector and experience working with corporates, community organisations, and other funding partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to show initiative and be self-motivated while working within a team.
  • Proficient in using client management systems such as RE NXT.
  • Current National Police check and Working With Children Employee Clearance.
  • Right to live and work in Australia.
