Key Maintenance Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled maintenance technician to join our team in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing autonomous haulage systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining equipment.

This role involves working on various sites across the Pilbara, including South Flank, Jimblebar, and Newman, and requires travel between these locations as needed.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality maintenance services and driving the success of our operations.

  • Prepare for and execute maintenance activities on AHTs and EMVs, completing post-execution tasks and eliminating defects to facilitate reliable and efficient maintenance operations.
  • Complete troubleshooting of onboard AH system faults and work with OEMs to complete routine calibrations of AHTs after base machine components are replaced.
  • Assess the underlying cause of problems and evaluate multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.

Requirements:

  • A comprehensive understanding of safety processes and systems on a mine site.
  • Trade or engineering qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or communication fields.
  • Experience in working with fleet management systems (e.g., Komatsu FrontRunner and/or CAT Command) or other mining technology products.
  • A thorough understanding of mechanical and/or electrical mining equipment.
  • Knowledge of communications network systems, advantageous.
  • Experience in problem-solving and adaptability in a fluid working environment.
