About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor to support our workforce and play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of workplace injury cases from initial reporting to return-to-work, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Manage workers compensation portfolios in the Queensland and New South Wales jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate medical case conferences with injured workers and medical practitioners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for injured workers, providing end-to-end support and guidance throughout their recovery and return-to-work process.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated injury management efforts that meet the needs of both employees and the organization.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all injury management activities, maintaining compliance with workers compensation regulations and company policies.
  • Review and risk assess pre-employment medicals to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary degree qualification in health science or an allied health profession.
  • Injury management qualification.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health Safety.
