Occupational Therapist

Konekt is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering workplace injury prevention, return to work, and disability support solutions that enable individuals and organizations to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness.
- Support clients with chronic illness, injury, or disability to achieve independence and fulfill their goals.
- Help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests.
- Perform activities of daily living assessments and recommend assistive technology under a range of contracts.
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments.
- Complete workplace modifications assessments under the National Panel of Assessors contract (requires minimum two years disability employment experience).
- Administer standardized assessment tools.
- Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor your client's progress toward their return to work or life goal.
- Engage with key stakeholders and build strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Professional registration with AHPRA.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
