About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney. As a Mortgage Industry Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an expert and well-polished experience for customers. You will drive business growth and oversee a team who handle customer queries, sales, and customer operations across all products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Service Relationships: Develop and enhance service relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Provide Customer Support: Provide inbound and outbound customer support in pre-sales, onboarding, settlement, and servicing, as well as mentor the team on best practice and up-skill them.
  • Support Applications: Support applications through the sales funnel, understanding customers' needs and providing solutions.
  • Educate Customers: Educate customers on the product(s) and deliver the best customer outcomes.
  • Problem Solving: Problem solving and complaints handling, working with the wider team to manifest excellent solutions for customers.

About You:

We are looking for someone with a sound knowledge of the lending and mortgages industry. You should have at least 4 years of experience in the mortgage industry and possess team leadership qualities, even if not in a formal leadership role previously. A true passion for people and relationships, with outstanding communication skills, is essential.
