Job Title:

Family Violence Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Family Violence team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners from multiple organisations, providing a considered and integrated service to children, victim survivors and people using violence.

You will work closely with other leaders across The Door to coordinate and deliver responsive services as a key member of the leadership group.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising, case supporting and guiding a team of Peninsula Health Men's Practitioners in leading quality responses to people using violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of practitioners from multiple organisations, providing a considered and integrated service to children, victim survivors and people using violence.
  • Work closely with other leaders across The Door to coordinate and deliver responsive services as a key member of the leadership group.
  • Supervise, case support and guide a team of Peninsula Health Men's Practitioners in leading quality responses to people using violence.
Requirements:
  • A relevant graduate qualification in Social Work or related social sciences.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience working with men.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in MARAM and the ability to undertake comprehensive intake assessments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to provide high level performance and support.
