Key Responsibilities:
  • To act as a technical referral point for claims staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless resolution of complex claims
  • To assist in the development of technical claims knowledge through training and mentoring programs
  • To identify trends and areas for improvement through analysis of technical complaints escalation handling
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) certification
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing a claims team at a technical level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with the ability to balance understanding, empathy, and commercial acumen
