As a Customer Experience Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the City's connection with its community. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic leadership and expert communication, ensuring outstanding community and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Lead the development of strategic plans and programs that align with the City's vision and goals.
- Provide quality advice and insight to Council and the Executive Leadership Team on key areas including customer experience, community engagement, and emerging trends.
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence across customer experience, communications & marketing, community engagement, community safety, community support and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with external partners, other councils, and internal teams to drive strategic planning and innovation.
- Ensure services are compliant with legislative, policy, and funding frameworks while delivering meaningful and measurable outcomes for the community.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to foster a culture that is outcomes-focused and responsive to community and customer needs.
- Proven track record of shaping and delivering strategic communication initiatives that connect, inspire, and engage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the power of storytelling and messaging to drive alignment, build trust, and influence outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead diverse teams.
- Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
