We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Inghams in Bolivar, South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading poultry company and contribute to the maintenance of our primary processing plant.

About the Role

This casual electrical position offers a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts, four days on and four days off. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing operational support and performing planned preventative maintenance on equipment across the site. You will need to demonstrate good fault-finding skills and have the ability to work unsupervised.

The ideal candidate will possess a South Australian Electrical License and an Australian trade qualification. Industrial experience in installations, fault finding, repairs, and maintenance on production equipment is essential. A sound understanding of safety standards and quality assurance practices is also required.

Responsibilities
  • Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner.
  • Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime through effective planned maintenance activities.
  • Assisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities.
