Electrical Maintenance Specialist

The Company:

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our client, a leader in external drainage systems and modular polymer concrete channel drainage solutions. With over 50 years of global experience, our client excels in engineering and innovation from their purpose-built facility in Emu Plains.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Control panel construction and maintenance, including PLC
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical/electrical system problems, such as electrical circuits, controls, motor starters, and proximity switches
  • Responsible for equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades on electrical and mechanical systems

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:

  • Electrical trade qualification with all current certificates
  • PLC diagnostic and troubleshooting essential
  • Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and motivated attitude to work
  • Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment
  • Experience conducting breakdown and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment

Hours & Rates:

Day shift: 6am-2.30pm or 7am-3.30pm

$55 to $60 per hour + super
