Project Leader Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Leader to manage critical projects from initiation through to delivery. This involves overseeing the implementation of Workday Advanced Compensation module and driving process simplification for job changes (promotions, transfers, secondments).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning, scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Manage senior stakeholders including leadership, Talent, Rem & Benefits, Technology, and People Systems teams.
  • Oversee vendor management, integrations, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Provide transparent status reporting, highlight risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure smooth transition into production and provide hypercare support.
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in HCM technology projects, ideally Workday.
  • Strong background in multi-country environments and large, complex organisations.
  • Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including at executive level.
Contract Details:
  • Length: 9 months (possible extension)
  • Location: Melbourne CBD – flexible hybrid work arrangement.
