Job Title: Senior Test Manager/Program Lead

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the overall testing strategy and function within an organization. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading large-scale testing programs, managing multiple test managers and driving testing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, implement and monitor Test Strategies, Test Plans and Test Summaries.
  • Run large-scale testing programs and manage multiple test managers to drive testing outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholders, working with senior executives to efficiently report, track and manage testing risks.
  • Ensure that test cases are linked to requirements to enable traceability coverage.
  • Identify, review, monitor and track defects to ensure they are valid and adhere to agreed-upon defect standards and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior Test Manager/Program Manager in governing and managing the IT testing function, preferably within a financial service organization.
  • Minimum 5 years of Insurance Industry experience.
  • 2+ years of working within an Agile environment.
  • A strong background working in Compliance/Regulatory experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading large teams and programs for delivery of technical outcomes.
  • Proven reporting and documentation skills, including creating strategic and tactical plans, producing reports for various audiences and drafting functional and non-functional test cases.
  • Agile delivery lead experience.
  • Strong risk management ability to assess projects, clients and environments for risks that may impact the business.
