Project Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and deliver projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple construction or refurbishment projects, including refurbishments, new builds, site upgrades, fit-out projects, and contractor management of minor and major works.

This role requires the ability to work within key project management disciplines, such as risk management, quality assurance, and earned value management. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to balance conflicting priorities and manage resources effectively.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the scoping, planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects, as well as developing budgets, resources, outage management, permitting, site mobilisation, and financial compliance. They will also be accountable for ensuring that all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems and goals are introduced and adhered to while meeting the organisation's policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or extensive experience in project management of construction projects. A certification from a reputable professional body, such as the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), is highly desirable.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve project objectives.
