Business Development Position
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving retail success across leading retailers.
- Retail Performance and Brand Execution:
- You will manage sell-out performance through effective merchandising, retail education, marketing activations, and seasonal initiatives.
- You will develop and execute annual business plans for each retailer, focused on sales growth, visibility, and in-store excellence.
- You will act as a brand ambassador at major conferences, retailer events, and education sessions—engaging teams with product expertise and brand storytelling.
- Relationship Building and Leadership:
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring exceptional service and alignment to commercial and brand goals.
- You will lead regular business reviews with key retailers, identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and securing future growth.
- Comprehensive Account Management:
- You will manage the business holistically owning forecasting, stock management, education, events, and commercial growth strategies.
- You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute activations, in-store training, and marketing campaigns that fuel consumer engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in sales, account management, or retail management—ideally within the beauty, wellness, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven track record of growing retail businesses and delivering against KPIs in Australia and/or New Zealand.
- Strong understanding of the ANZ retail landscape, including Sephora, Priceline, Life Pharmacy, and pharmacy and department store channels.
- Confident and engaging presenter with excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable leading retail training, in-store events, and external meetings.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
