At the heart of hospitality, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Group Reservations Coordinator.

Purpose

This role involves working at our corporate head office, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring exceptional customer service when booking group accommodation. You will be responsible for managing all group business from confirmation through to guest check-in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective relationships with key clients and travel agents through friendly and professional communication.
  • Produce and distribute rooming lists and confirmations as required, maintaining regular communication with the client.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge across Accor Hotels portfolio.
  • Manage all group reservations within Accor Hotels systems (Ivvy and SiHOT) as required.
  • Undertake all group reservation tasks such as actioning release backs and loading room lists at an individual property level.
  • Nurture business relationships with key clients and travel agents to encourage loyalty.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum of 2+ years' experience in a Customer Service environment, ideally with experience within accommodation or travel.
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone manner with the ability to instantly establish a strong rapport with clients verbally.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Fast and accurate data entry.
  • Well-developed written and verbal skills.
  • Passion for problem solving skills and willingness to work under pressure.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills are required.
