Disability Support Career

We are seeking individuals who can make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support for individuals to live independently, including those with complex needs or requiring additional support at home.
  • Assisting individuals in achieving their goals by developing daily living skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills and budgeting.
  • Supporting personal care needs.
  • Maintenance of meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and community connections through socialising and outings.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a SIL environment or supporting individuals with complex disabilities and dementia is highly regarded.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, mornings, weekends and sleepovers.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements as manual handling tasks may be involved.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications.
