Aircraft Refuelling Driver Position

UGL is currently seeking a qualified tanker driver to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Williamtown RAAF Base in the NSW Hunter Region.

  • The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base.
  • They will work closely with operators to safely load the fuel tank truck with required fuel.
  • The driver will deliver the fuel to designated refuelling points, including aircraft on the runway.
  • Operating pumps on the tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft.
  • Effective communication with internal and external teams to ensure excellent customer experience.

Essential Requirements:

  • Holding a current MC/HC Drivers Licence.
  • Dangerous Goods Handling Licence.
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles.
  • Relevant experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a diverse team.
  • Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances.
