Aircraft Catering Driver

This role is responsible for loading catering onto aircraft and driving a short distance to the tarmac, guiding the vehicle for safe approach and working with airline cabin crew to ensure correct servicing.
The key responsibilities of this role include safely driving vehicles to load and unload catering, conducting basic vehicle checks and refueling as required.
Key Responsibilities- Drive vehicles safely to load and unload catering.
- Load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, ensuring discrepancies are followed up on and communicating with airline staff for handover.
- Position vehicles in line with company policies and communicate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing delivery.
- Perform administrative tasks such as documentation and reporting, as well as general cleaning duties as required.
- Hold a current MR or HR driver's license.
- Be able to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
- Have flexibility to work around flight schedules, including a 24 hour roster.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Present oneself neatly and tidily at all times.
- Obtain a clear National Police Check due to the Aviation Services industry requirement.
- Work full-time hours of 38 hours per week.
