Hotel Operations Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that quality and standards are consistently met. This includes assisting guests with check-in and departure, handling general enquiries, and resolving any complaints or grievances in a professional and courteous manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including checking in and out guests, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all customers.
  • Handle general enquiries, providing information and assistance to guests in a prompt and helpful manner.
  • Resolve any complaints or grievances, negotiating with relevant parties to find mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area, enabling the provision of exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with property management systems, preferably OPERA.
  • Relevant experience in a similar managerial role, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Working rights in Australia, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • A self-motivated, driven, and energized individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
