Executive Support Role

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the Minister's Cabinet, Executive Council and Parliamentary business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with relevant government agencies on forthcoming business, ensuring timely preparation of briefing notes and documentation, and providing high-level policy advice to senior officers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing submissions and minutes in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Providing quality control services on the preparation of Cabinet submissions and Executive Council minutes.
  • Managing the secure storage and handling of sensitive documents.
  • Coordinating Departmental reporting on key matters.

Closing liaison is required with senior officers to ensure that any matters referred to the Department are appropriately addressed.

This role involves facilitating the progress of high-level policies and proposals, monitoring correspondence, and ensuring timely delivery of documents.
