Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our centre. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the centre.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractor relationships and performance by establishing effective communication channels and conducting regular site inspections.
  • Oversee overall maintenance and operations of the centre, including the management of purchase orders, invoices, and contractor payments.
  • Optimize energy costs and HVAC efficiency through proactive measures such as reviewing energy consumption patterns and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct daily centre inspections to identify potential hazards or issues and address them promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with teams on capital works projects and risk management strategies to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the operations management team, providing detailed insights into centre performance and operational metrics.

Ideal Background:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in building management, facilities management, or operations roles, preferably in a shopping centre environment.
  • Knowledge and experience working with HVAC and vertical transport systems, as well as strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with contractors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Initiative, professionalism, and persistence, with a proven track record of delivering results-oriented solutions.
