Medical Services Leader

The Department of Health manages the Northern Territory public health system, operating across 5 regions.
As a Senior Staff Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of medical care in a public hospital setting.
You will provide clinical leadership and oversee medical education programs in the Central Australian Regions.
Fostering a positive workplace culture, providing clinical leadership, and overseeing the medical education program are key responsibilities in this role.
Additionally, you will provide advice to the Regional Executive Director on medical, clinical, and professional conduct matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee medical education programs
- Oversee medical services and ensure high standards of care
- Advise the Regional Executive Director on medical and clinical matters
Requirements include specialist registration or eligibility with AHPRA, a Fellowship with an Australasian specialist college, and demonstrated experience in medical administration/management and rural and remote area medicine.
