This role involves delivering high-quality medical services to a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive healthcare services, including those comparable to those offered by a USG Facility Medical Officer (FMO), during clinic hours and as needed after hours.
- Obtain patients' health histories and perform thorough physical examinations.
- Diagnose conditions and counsel patients on treatment plans, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered to make decisions about their care.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state laws and professional guidelines, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate, problem-oriented health records for each patient, adhering to Health Information Management policies and best practices.
- Ensure continuity of care by providing prompt and comprehensive medical services, addressing any concerns or needs that arise.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, assisting patients with their healthcare needs and promoting a positive experience.
- Coordinate referrals for services not available on-site, streamlining the care process and minimizing delays.
- Review incoming reports, such as lab results, x-rays, and EKGs, signing and dating them promptly and following up as necessary.
- Pursue ongoing learning and stay current with medical advancements, applying new knowledge and skills to improve patient outcomes.
- Complete required organizational compliance training, including client-specific requirements for certifications like Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services or other regulatory bodies.
