Job DescriptionThis project is currently in the proposal stage, and we are awaiting contract award.This position will support Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their Joint Department of Defense Program in Alice Springs, Australia.
The individual in this role will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and provide the services outlined below.International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Technician to work as a vital part of an interdisciplinary team.
The technician will perform diagnostic tests, operate medical equipment, and ensure accurate results for patient care.
They will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first aid, emergency medical services, health examinations, or nursing services to employees.Interact with injury management, workers' compensation, and outside compensation providers.Offer health education and illness prevention information to employees.Prepare, maintain, record, and report accident reports, health histories, and injuries occurring at the worksite.Maintain inventory of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) equipment and first aid supplies.Assist in performing drug and alcohol testing at the worksite.Oversee other health-related issues such as drinking water, food preparations, and safety of living areas.Perform duties following established procedures.Provide healthcare to employees at designated locations.Exercise judgment within established procedures and current regulations to select methods and techniques for treatment.Apply techniques used in the medical field supporting Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
Provide technical proficiency and compassionate patient interactions, supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional care.Demonstrate strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.Work effectively in dynamic environments.Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Complete organizational compliance education, including client-specific requirements, for certifications such as Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services or other regulatory bodies.
