We are seeking a compassionate and creative Lifestyle & Wellbeing Care Officer to join our team. As a key member of our care community, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents.

  • You will help residents explore their interests and passions through various activities, such as art classes, gardening clubs, day trips, and movie nights.
  • As a social butterfly, you will foster connections among residents and promote a sense of belonging within our care community.
  • You will provide emotional support to residents with cognitive impairment or mental health needs, and assist with daily living activities like mealtimes and outings.
  • As a resident champion, your voice matters, and you will gather feedback through surveys and family conferences to ensure activities truly hit the mark.
  • As a team player, you will collaborate with our lifestyle coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate any concerns.
  • Keeping things clean and safe is essential, so you will follow infection control protocols and maintain a tidy environment.
  • Finally, you will lend a hand with plating and serving meals, adhering to food safety standards and monitoring resident preferences.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with a heart of gold who is passionate about enriching lives. You should be flexible, adaptable, and always up for a challenge. We value creativity, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.
  • Current Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support, or a willingness to complete it.
  • First Aid Certificate, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Australian driver's license.
