Haematology Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced haematology nurse to work with patients requiring long-term follow up.

You will provide expert clinical advice and advanced care coordination to patients and their carers.

About the Role:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of specialty-related education programs.
  • Participate in formal processes for strategic and operational planning for the clinical service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing advice and support to patients and families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  • Ability to work a Monday to Friday roster.
  • Experience in haematology.
  • Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
