
Senior Haematology Clinical Care Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of haematology specialists at a leading healthcare institution.
About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced haematology nurse with a proven track record in the transplant and/or cellular therapies space. Highly preferable to have a demonstrated interest in long term follow up.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
- Provides leadership in the ongoing development of clinical practice.
- Initiates and utilises findings of research in the provision of clinical services.
- Contributes to the development and delivery of specialty-related education programs.
- Participates in formal processes for the strategic and operational planning for the clinical service.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Providing expert clinical advice and advanced care coordination to patients and their carers.
- Leading the development of clinical practice.
- Staying up-to-date with research and best practices in haematology and cellular therapies.
- Contributing to education and training programs.
- Current nursing registration with a relevant governing body.
- 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
- Ability to work a Monday to Friday roster.
- Experience in haematology.
- Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
