Family Accompaniment Role

Job Summary:

As a Family Accompaniment Enumerator, you will play a key role in collecting valuable insights from Pacific and Timorese families settled in Australia under the PALM scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct semi-structured key informant interviews using a device for data collection in Qualtrics to gather information on family dynamics and experiences.
  • Collect data on household expenditure using a device for data collection in Qualtrics to understand economic trends.
  • Collaborate with the M&E Manager to analyze and make sense of collected data.
  • Work closely with the Family Liaison Officer to ensure smooth fieldwork operations and logistical support.
  • Travel within Australia as required to conduct interviews and collect data.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in conducting interviews with diverse cultural backgrounds, preferably with Pacific and Timorese communities.
  • A postgraduate degree or working towards one in social sciences, economics, international development, gender studies, human rights, or related fields.
  • A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
