We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator to lead key projects and develop a positive health and safety culture across the organisation.

Job Description

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote a positive health and safety culture
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to employees to ensure they understand their role in maintaining a safe working environment
  • Managing internal and external audits and implementing improvements where identified
  • Reporting all safety incidents and hazards immediately
  • Taking care for own safety and that of others
  • Ensuring the work environment is free from discrimination, harassment or bullying

Key Responsibilities

- Educating the organisation on health and safety best practices
- Driving a culture of continual process improvement and innovation
- Promoting a culture of reporting incidents and developing strategies to minimise harm caused through workplace incidents
- Implementing health and safety programs and providing advice that engages employees and managers
- Advising the business on risk mitigation and safety strategies that maintain compliance and focus on best practice
