Are you a seasoned professional seeking to drive process optimization in regulated manufacturing environments? We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Lead to join our team

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and driven individual to lead the delivery of automation projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes. Your primary focus will be on managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of automation projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and risk across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including controls engineers, validation teams, IT, and production.
  • Oversee the design, integration, installation, commissioning, and validation of control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS).
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP5, and applicable regulatory requirements for system validation and documentation (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Drive stakeholder communication, reporting, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors, including procurement, scheduling, and performance oversight.
  • Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project phases.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience managing automation or process control projects in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma, food, or chemical).
  • Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and batch control systems.
  • Solid knowledge of project management frameworks (PMP, PRINCE2 desirable).
  • Familiarity with industry standards: GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, ISA-88/95.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Jira, etc.).
