Job Title: Moulding Machine Operator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for experienced moulding machine operators to join our team in St Marys, NSW. We are seeking skilled professionals who can ensure injection moulding machines are set up and running according to schedule.

The Job

We require someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills to contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring proper set up of machinery and handling equipment per operating procedures and company regulations.
  • Contributing to troubleshooting and repairs of manufacturing machines and tools per company standards.
  • Demonstrating accurate training to machine tool operators on how to use the machines safely.
  • Identifying, investigating, rectifying and reporting defects and non-conforming products.
  • Routing efficiency, timely reporting of issues and sharing best practices on machine operations.
  • Maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Previous experience as a moulding machine operator.
  • Certification in Polymers Technology (Cert III or IV) or recognised equivalent skill.
  • High-level skill in plastic injection moulding on automotive-grade products.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
