Lead Homelessness Services Team

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join our team in the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of homelessness services. This involves ensuring they are responsive, innovative, and grounded in best practice.

About the Position

  • Strategically lead homelessness services to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop strong relationships with community organisations, government agencies, and First Nations communities.
  • Nurture a positive, professional culture within your team through coaching, mentoring, and development planning.
  • Bring a creative and strategic mindset to program design, identifying opportunities for innovation, service expansion, and community development initiatives that align with organisational values and goals.
  • Ensure services meet all contractual, compliance, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a Human or Community Services discipline, such as social work or psychology.
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic and operational planning.
  • Demonstrated experience working within complex systems to support people experiencing homelessness, mental health, trauma, disability, substance use, and/or financial disadvantage.
  • Demonstrated experience using high-level clinical and case management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed practice delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams.
