Project Manager Role

As a seasoned professional in project management, you will play a pivotal role in driving project delivery. Your key responsibilities will include developing and managing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.

You will coordinate and oversee the work of cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and subcontractors. Your ability to identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies will be crucial in keeping projects on track.

Regular progress updates and reports will be provided to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

In this critical role, you will also be responsible for ensuring that all relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements are met. This includes fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing within the team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, with experience in delivering projects in the defence industry. Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, they will hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

To be successful in this position, candidates must be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance and be an Australian Citizen.
