Project Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Project Manager within our System Engineering stream.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in Land, Communications, Navy, Space or other Defence sectors and strong experience delivering or supporting complex Defence Acquisition or Sustainment projects within CASG.

  • Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries.
  • Strong experience working in defence sectors with a focus on project management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills and be able to work effectively with various stakeholders. They will also have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and deliver complex projects across multiple sites and teams.
  2. Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  3. Coordinate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  5. Foster effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a defence-related field.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
