Casual Warehouse Packer

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Casual Warehouse Packer to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload pallets of bakery ingredients.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in forklift and pallet jack operation, as well as good English and literacy skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload pallets of bakery ingredients
  • Pack bakery ingredients into appropriate boxes and prepare for dispatch
  • Conduct basic labor duties, such as cleaning and organizing the warehouse
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations

Requirements:

  • Forklift license is a must
  • Previous experience in forklift and pallet jack operation
  • Good English and literacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to perform manual labor duties
  • Available to work Monday to Friday (casual shifts to start with)
