Job Opportunity

The Department for Child Protection seeks a motivated leader to join the Noarlunga office on a full-time term basis.

This role is responsible for providing leadership, development and performance of a designated work team, management of social work/case management practice and standards.

  • Promoting professional social work practice by enabling culturally inclusive and holistic intervention methodologies that achieve successful practice outcomes.
  • Ensuring that assessment frameworks and evidence-based research is used to develop and implement relevant, inclusive and accessible services to client groups.
  • Contributing to strategic leadership, business planning and review policies associated with work practices.

About You

We are looking for a leader who will actively promote professional social work practice in their team and develop and lead staff to achieve quality results.

A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing will allow you to develop and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders.

You will have proven experience in supervising a team, managing and prioritizing workloads, conflict resolution, and have the ability to lead culturally competent and diverse practice.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families.
