Job Description

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of power generation products across QLD, NSW, NT, and the Pacific. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and managing tenders for projects valued $100k to $1.5m
  • Overseeing project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and specification adherence
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships for repeat and new business
  • Providing technical support and collaborating with internal teams and clients
  • Monitoring market trends to inform sales strategies and achieve growth targets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong background in electrical engineering or power generation
  • Proven ability to prepare and manage tenders effectively
  • Skilled in overseeing projects from initiation to completion
  • Capable of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage all business levels
  • Independent, proactive, and able to think on your feet
  • Willing to travel 10% of the time across assigned territories
  • Demonstrates commitment and resilience in previous roles
  • Experience in technical or project-based sales, particularly in power generation
